Be Still

On the wall of my office hangs a painting with the words of Psalm 46:10

"Be still and know that I am God."

Those words are etched into my favorite mug, across my journal and will probably be my bedroom ceiling one day.

The hardest thing to do in the middle of a stressful time is to be still. Yet even nature shows that the eye of a storm is absolutely still. I surround myself with words to remind me: no matter how the storm rages, God is in control. So take a deep breath and be still.

Check out Sacred Spaces for guided practices on being still before God.

I hope the words below bring you encouragement and a reminder that you are not forgotten, God is with you so be still and wait.
